After a long gap Colors Pride family now has new members. They are Colors Pride P-45 and Colors Pride P-55 Selfie. The last launch from the company was Colors Pride P32. Following the trend of the market, Colors has also diverted its focus toward cameras and selfies. If we look at the price we can see that these are very affordable phones. No big companies provide smartphones at this price but Colors does. More on that Colors is trying to provide the best it can for the lowest price. In the market a good branded phone costs at least above Rs 10,000 ($100) but Colors is providing even cheaper phones. Colors Pride P-45 has a very plain design with a plastic body. It has a small 4.5″ screen with FWVGA resolution and 2.5D curved glass on top. For processing, Colors Pride P-45 comes with a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor on a Spreadtrum chip. It also boasts 1 GB RAM, 8 GB storage, and an 1800 mAh battery. For the camera, the front side has a 2 MP VGA camera while the back side has a 5 MP camera that can take 720p videos,
Overall, the specification of Colors Pride P-45 is very basic and minimal but surprisingly the P45 is running with Android 7.0. It is good to see that at least there is the latest operating system and cleaner UI. Better OS or software is very important along with hardware. Colors Pride P-55 Selfie Specifications
The Pride P55 also has a normal plastic body and basic construction. It has a slightly bigger 5″ screen, unlike the smaller screen in Colors Pride P-45. The display panel of Colors Pride P55 is also covered by 2.5D glass which provides good design and experience. For internal hardware, there is a Spreadtrum processor with quad-core sets, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB storage, and a 2200 mAh battery. Users can also add SD cards up to 32 GB.
In comparison to the P45, the P55 has a big screen and a bigger battery plus an Asahi Dragontrail on top of the screen. Pride P55 is a dual SIM Phone which supports 3G and 2G. As it is a budget device, there is no 4G support. For the software part, Colors Pride P55 is running with Android Marshmallow. For the camera part, there is a 5 MP back sensor and a 2 MP front sensor.

Conclusion
Both P45 and P55 phones from Colors have a “Lite Data Saver” to save mobile data. They both use the Spreadtrum SPD 7731 chipset, 1 GB RAM, and 8 GB storage. These are lower-budget tier phones from Colors but they are providing basic power. We love the fact that they are running on a new OS like Nougat. There is actually nothing special about the phones as they have really basic hardware.
The camera pixel count is also normal and fits the price. P-55 Selfie is coated with Dragontrail glass which makes it more durable. Many companies don’t provide such features. In reality, these phones are meant for first-time Android smartphone buyers, starters, or people who just need a decent second smartphone. So if you need a secondary device or a new phone to learn Android these are on options.
