Colors Pride family now has new members. They are Pride P45 and P55 Selfie. Following the trend of market, Colors has also diverted toward camera and selfie. Company’s strongest point is producing budget oriented phones. Similarly, these new phones are tagged in same way. Current price of Colors P45 is Rs 6,995 and price of P55 Selfie in Nepal is Rs 7,595.

Pride P-55 Selfie: The new P55 is a budget oriented selfie tagged phone with entry level specs. It is small phone with 5” display. Specs of Colors P-55 Selfie are as follows:

  • 5″ IPS LCD Screen
  • FWVA Resolution at 480×854
  • Asahi Dragontrail glass protection
  •  1.3 GHz quad core processor
  • 2200 mAh battery
  • 1 GB RAM
  • 8 GB Internal Memory
  • 5 MP Back Camera / 2 MP Front Camera

The display panel is covered by a 2.5D glass which provides good design and experience. Users can add SD Cards up to 32 GB. It is a dual SIM Phone which supports 3G and 2G. P55 is running with Android Marshmallow. Buyers will get free tempered glass and back cover with each purchase.

Pride P-45: This is a smaller smartphone with 4.5″ screen. The internal specs are quite similar to P55. Its hardware specs are as follows:

  • 1 GB RAM
  • 1.3 GHz quad core processor
  • 8 GB On-board storage
  • 1800 mAh battery
  • 5 MP Back / 2 mp Front Camera
  • 4.5” IPS LCS FWVGA Screen

Surprisingly Colors P45 is running with Android 7.0. It also has 2.5D curved screen on top. Pride P-45 is also a dual SIM phone with 3G support.


Both phones have “Lite Data Saver” to save mobile data. They both use Spreadtrum SPD 7731 chipset. These are lower budget tier phones from Colors. We love the fact that they are running on new OS like Nougat. There is nothing special about the phones as they have really basic hardware.

The camera pixel count is also normal and fits the price. P-55 Selfie is coated with Dragontrail glass which makes it more durable. Many companies don’t provide such features. These phones are meant for Android first time buyers, starter or people who just need a decent smartphone.
