The Gionee A1 has a 154.5 x 76.5 x 8.3 mm dimension and 182g weight. It is a compact phone but it has a large screen. The front side has a screen, a home button with a fingerprint scanner, an earpiece, a selfie camera, and sensors. Then on the right side, there is the volume rocker and power button. The back is made up of metal where there is a camera, dual time LED flash, and Gionee logo. The top side has a 3.5mm headphone jack and the bottom side has a USB Type C port and a speaker grill.
Core Internal Hardware
Gionee A1 has a Helio P10 processor, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB inbuilt storage, SD card support, and a 4010 mAh battery. It’s fantastic that the company is packing so much powerful hardware at this price. It is almost a flagship range of hardware. We are highly impressed by the hardware inside the Gionee A1. It stands just like its name at the top class.
Consumers are getting enough internal memory and RAM. This is the best offer anyone can throw on the table in terms of memory at this price. The A1 holds 8 core processor comprising two quad-core sets. Thus, this is a good set of hardware to have at this price. Gionee is currently running Android Nougat and rocking Amigo 4 UI.

Cameras and Display
Gionee A1 has a 5.5″ IPS LCD screen with 1080×1920 resolution. It provides 401 ppi pixel density. The screen is also protected by a Gorilla Glass 3 on top. Above the screen, there is a 16 MP selfie camera which is very surprising. It can take high-resolution selfies in the daytime and in low light too.
The main back camera is 13 MP which can take videos at a maximum resolution of 1080p. The 16 MP front camera also takes 1080p videos at maximum capacity. Almost all mobiles have better back cameras but it is the opposite here in the case of A1. The front selfie camera is better in pixel count than the main camera. Gionee A1 has new Sony sensors and increased FOV which produces fantastic selfies and videos.

The Gionee A1 has a powerful and efficient octa-core processor, 4 GB RAM, a big battery, and an FHD screen. It has features such as quick charge, fingerprint scanner, compass, gyroscope, etc. It also supports Dual SIM with 4G LTE. Overall Gionee A1 is a reasonably good mid-range smartphone. It can be a great option at this price and it can challenge many other phones on the market.
