Its name is GM 5 Plus and costs Rs 24,999. Best thing about Android One phones is regular guaranteed updates from Google.
All Android One phones are sure to get updates for 2 years. It also means all major updates such as OS. They also run on pure stock Android UI and no other junk. It is simply budget Google phones but with lower specs. The hardware specs are also proper to the cost.
At first phase mainly Indian manufacturers only made Android One products like Micromax Canvas, Karbonn Sparkle V. Many other international companies joined for manufacture in other developing countries too. Google and other smartphone manufacturers clearly know that biggest smartphone consumers are in developing countries.
The demographics in these location don’t spend much but the number of buyers matters in big numbers. There is no compromise in manufacture of GM 5 Plus. The internal parts are manufactured by various reputed multinational companies. They include Panasonic, Corning, Sony and Foxconn.

Snapdragon 617 Soc is a very good processor with Adreno 405 GPU. Its big full HD screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 4 on top. Both 13 Megapixel sensors shoot great photos and 1080p videos. Selfies are also crispy with very high details due to bigger sensor. It has dual SIM with 4G support.
The phone is CAT 7 capable which means very high data transfer rate. Well practically you are bound by Nepali telecom companies. It also holds a very well crafted metallic body with 3100 mAh battery inside. It also supports Fast Charging, thanks to the Qualcomm chipset. Apparently there is no fingerprint scanner.

At this price, General Mobile Nepal’s GM5 Plus is offering a great package. We get good camera, processor, bigger battery, storage, RAM, screen and great software experience. Personally we are a fan of stock Android because of experience and speed. This phone is going to deliver that demand in budget price.
We are not saying its cheap because 25K is upper budget price. GM 5 plus is going to give a good competition to lots of popular phones in the market due to its perks in software and features.
