Huawei has a new addition to Nova lineup for 2018. The Huawei Nova 3e is company’s new mid range offering for smartphone lovers. It checks all the boxes for design, specs and feature for current generation. Company is branding this as “A New Superstar”. The official Huawei Nova 3e price in Nepal is Rs 35,900. Nepal market is getting this in quite reasonable time after global launch.
New Nova 3e packs a lot of interesting features this time. It is a mid range phone so people have a lot of expectation. The Huawei Nova 3e comes with 5.84” IPS LCD screen with notch at top. It has a screen resolution of 1080×2280 which is 19:9 aspect ratio. Below that big screen, it is powered by an octa core processor on HiSilicon Kirin 659 chipset. There are two quad core sets, one is 2.36 Ghz and next is 1.7 GHz.
The Graphics Processing Unit on the SOC is Mali-T830 MP2. Nova 3e in Nepal comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. It also supports external SD card up to 256 GB using memory card. Inside we also get 3000 mAh battery which support fast charging. The phone is also running on Android 8.0 Oreo with EMUI on top.

Camera wise it has dual setup and back. This feature was very popular and loved in Nova 2i as well. The back camera setup actually consists of 16 MP+2 MP f/2.2 modules. This gives it power to capture good photos with Bokeh effect. The maximum video resolution is only 1920×1080 which is good but not enough now days. We would have loved to see it record in higher resolution though. Front shooter is a 16 MP f/2.0 sensor that can take really good selfies.
Huawei Nova 3e has 3D retouching feature and also supports facial unlock. There is fingerprint sensor at the back also. It has almost all the necessary sensors like Gyroscope, Compass etc. Huawei has added some new cool features that are actually beneficial. This includes fast charging and dual Bluetooth. People who need to connect more than one Bluetooth devices can certainly benefit from this.
Looking the spec sheet Nova 3e is good phone with mid range specs as market standard. They are offering big screen with tall aspect ratio that people like. It can be a good multimedia phone for people who love taking selfies and consume content. Huawei Nova 3e can also handle gameing well and with fast charging re-juicing will be easier and great.
