Processor, Memory, Storage and Battery
The Infinix Note 7 has an Helio G70 chipset with 8 cores. It is a mainstream mid-range processor with HyperEngine Game Technology. This technology is very beneficial for gamers. It helps in resource management and provides a better experience during gameplay sessions. HyperEngine manages GPU, CPU, memory, and battery for the optimum experience. With the Helio G70, this smartphone has 4 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage. There is also support for the external SD cards up to 1 TB.
All this is powered by a 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast charge support. This size is very popular these days and people demand big batteries now. Infinix has done the right thing by having this set of hardware in Note 7. For the internals department, the device has checked all ticks. This is a good specification setup for the price. It IS good for casual users, normal day to day users, and light gamers as well.
Display and Camera
Infinix Note 7 comes with a 6.95″ LCD screen with a hole punch on the left side. The hole houses 16 MP front camera which can record 1080p videos. The screen has an HD+ resolution at 720×1640. It is good to have such a big display but HD+ resolution is a bit less. However, this is the case in budget range phones. The screens are big but the pixel density is less. Still, it is good for many content consumers, video lovers, and web browsers.
Now let us see the back camera details. There are a total of 4 sensors. The main or first one is a 48 MP with f/1.8 aperture. The secondary is 2 MP depth-sensing camera. Third one is also 2 MP for depth and the fourth one is 2 MP for video purpose. This quad-camera set can record 1080p 30 fps videos at maximum resolution. In the software, we can find many useful modes. There are features like nigh-mode, super steady, portrait, and macro.
Infinix Hot 9 Play
This is an entry-level budget smartphone with very interesting specifications. There is a big 6.82″ screen, 6000 mAh battery, and Helio A25 chip. The internals of the phone consists of a basic processor and decent memory density. Among everything, screen and battery sizes are interesting.

Core Internals
Inside the Infinix Hot 9 Play, we find an entry-level Helio A25 octa-core processor. It is low power and an efficient chip designed for basic tasks. For memory, the company has two offers. One model has 2 GB RAM and 32 GB storage while another models has 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. The price difference between 2 GB and 4 GB models is justifiable. As far as possible, we suggest getting the 4 GB version. But if budget is crucial to you, get the 2 GB version.
The Hot 9 Play comes with a massive 6000 mAh battery. It is very interesting to see such a capacity in budget. This is not that common in phones of this price range. We only see this in mid-range devices. However, there is no fast charging so it can take a longer time to fill the power back. But the company has implemented software optimization to save battery and provide longer life.
Camera and Screen
On the front side, there is a 6.82″ LCD screen with a notch at the top. The notch houses the 8 MP selfie camera inside it. Infinix calls this screen as a cinematic display. In a sense, it is quite big and can give a good experience for watching movies and videos. Many people in a tight budget want big displays, and for those, this is a good option.
Now let us discuss back cameras. There are two sensors at the rear side. The main one is 13 MP and the secondary one is QVGA. To assist in low light there is a triple-LED flash system at the back. This back camera setup can record FHD (1920X1080) videos at 30 fps. It is a very basic camera set. These days people want at least one ultrawide and depth sensor. So we miss those features here. It is a kind of trade-off because, in Infinix Hot 9, we get a big screen and battery but loose out on camera.
