Which motherboard to choose?
It is very important to choose the processor and know how to choose a motherboard carefully because it will be very critical for the future. First, think of what you need and what you might need in the future before making a purchase. It applied to both Intel and AMD boards. If you are using Intel and going with Core i3, then the H series board is economical. If Core i5 is your choice, then B series boards are the best.

For example, if you are buying Core i5 12400F now and plan to upgrade to i9 12900K in the future, then an affordable Z690 would be a good option instead of B660 board. People who upgrade their PC frequently don’t need to think about this. However some people keep their PC for a longer time, so those people should think about upgrading the processor.
Also, be careful while choosing the chipset because it is one of the most important bases. Some boards only support one graphics card or have just one PCIe X16 slot while some boards have more. For example, if you are an audio engineer and need to connect lots of peripherals then you may need more PCI slots. In such a case A, H, or B series board won’t have that and you will have to buy Z or X series board.
Similarly, you might be satisfied with two sticks of 8 GB RAM now but you may need to upgrade in a few years and in that case, if you have an H series board with just 2 RAM slots then you will need to sell old sticks and buy new. However, if you invest a little more and buy a B series board with 4 slots then you just need to buy new sticks in future and add them.
