Jaima Intercontinental launched its new addition to OTTO smartphone lineup. The company has now added OTTO Frank 7 to its list. This is their new budget phone of 2018. Last they the came up with Frank Dual. In the PR, they say that the feedback and support for Frank dual was great. Official price of Otto Frank 7 in Nepal is Rs 8,596. Many companies are pushing the boundary of hardware at this price range now.

Not only specs but design is also a major factor for purchase decision in any budget. This company of Singapore is trying to satisfy both needs of consumers. They are packing good amount of features, reasonable hardware in a good looking body. Otto Frank 7 comes with a 5” HD IPS LCD screen and 2.5D glass on top. It has a brushed metal finish body even at this price range.

Inside, it runs a 1.3 GHz quad core processor on Mediatek 6580 chipset. On memory side it has 1 GB RAM and for storage there is 8 GB on board. Users can however install memory card up to 64 GB at maximum. It is a dual SIM phone which is nice because it is almost compulsory for all phones in Nepal.

At the back there is 2000 mAh battery that powers up this device. Also there is a fingerprint scanner at the back. It is very good to see fingerprint sensors making to the budget and entry level phones. OTTO Frank 7 has 5 Megapixel camera at back and 2 Megapixel camera at front. The company is providing LED flash with both of the cameras on both sides.

This phone is available in three colors in the market. It includes Golden black, black and gold. Lee Mobi Care is the official service center for Otto products in Nepal. Frank 7 has a removable metal back cover which makes it easily serviceable. It runs on Android Nougat which seems fit on the specs.

We hope that manufacturers switch to Android Go for low end mobiles to make them faster and better in future. In overall look, the phone have good design and packs reasonable features plus hardware. It is good to see companies push better phones in budget range because it really marks the tech advancement that can be achieved in less cost.
