Colors recently heated up the market with their awesome Xfactor Elite E-10 which was one of the best budget smartphone. The company has added a new handset to the Xfactor Trend series Company states that the phones of this series have brilliant functionality, power and design. Of course it should be, because that is the basic requirement to have a great phone. This time Colors launched a new budget smartphone named Xfactor Trend T-50.
The last phone was in very competitive price range and this time the new phone is further below that price point and also without less compromises. Price of Colors Xfactor Trend T50 is Rs 9459 in Nepal and it is promises some absolutely amazing features. 8 MP back camera is its main specialty, because most of mobiles at this price range don’t offer such camera.
|Processor||1.3 GHz Quad Core|
|RAM||1 GB DDR3|
|Internal Memory||8 GB|
|Display||4.5” IPS Panel 480p|
|Camera||8 MP Back/ 5 MP Front|

The details are much better than expected from phone of such price range. It is a good competitor of expensive phone like Samsung Galaxy Core Prime. As for the specification and price range we can’t demand more. Colors is providing a free flip cover with this phone as well.
Impression and review
The Trend T50 is providing the best in market with Cortex A7 processor which is clocked as other mainstream and common phones also paired with a good graphics processor which is able to play new games at good settings. 1 GB RAM is the necessity of this time and we are getting it under 10K so it is cool. Below the 4.5” FWVGA screen we have system running Lollipop and the company also says that updates will be available via OTA.
Camera is really important for a phone and a 8 MP main camera with auto focus, LED Flash, modes like live shot, time beauty etc and a 5 MP secondary shooter gives it better position in market. 8 GB internal memory is provided and users can add external SD cards up to 32 GB for string additional media files.
This Dual SIM phone supports amazingly both normal and Micro SIM. With ability to switch between 2G(Edge) and 3G( HSPA) automatically the network reception will be better and great according to service location. Most of the smartphone that support 3G switch data service between 3G, 3.5G and 2G according to network quality.
The phone’s battery is just 1800 mAh and the screen is of 4.5” running a quad core processor inside which might be a blow for some people but lets not forget that software and power management plays an important role. Galaxy A5 is just 2100 mAh but runs great, many people criticized Note 5 for lower battery but it performed better than its predecessor in battery life.
The company is providing a beautiful looking phone, with markets popular specs at lower price, so this phone does wins in the price range. The gesture features like call receiving by just taking phone near to ears, switching from hands free mode to handset mode makes the device more flexible. Trend T-50 provides value for money in terms of hardware and software. So it is another great product of Colors after Elite E-10 in this biggest budget range of phone market.
