In Depth Comparison and Analysis
Looking at all of these phones we see Samsung using their best Super AMOLED screen at same resolution. But the size is different in each which means difference in Pixel density so the best pixel density is in Galaxy A8. Looking at other specs, we find that new A8 Star has better chipset and camera. It also boasts bigger battery and screen than other two brothers.
Galaxy A8 and A8 Plus have same cameras but A8 Star is different. The old A8 phones have dual cameras at front side while Star has dual setup at rear side. This new Star edition can record videos at 2160p at 30 fps but older versions can’t so we give it a big thumbs up. Also the pixel count on both sides of the Galaxy A8 star is higher at 24 MP which gives it better rating and results. Regarding the memory and storage, A8+ has a lead with 6 GB RAM but storage case is same for all. The thing to look is bigger battery which is present in the Galaxy A8 Star.
In our view the design change or camera placement change is one of the most noticeable thing. We liked it in the middle above fingerprint scanner. Except this we are happy to see Samsung bring 2160p recording, new chipset and more features in mid range. There are lots of competition in mid range segment and we wish to see more better phones in budget and this range from Samsung. All three of these phones are pretty good but if we are to decide, we would rather go with A8 Star among these and would pick A8 for its size because many people love small phones.
