Looking at the specs of these phones we see that both are using the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset. This chip has a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor on it. Here the J5 is much cheaper and bring same display size with the same resolution. The camera is also better and the battery is also bigger in J5. However, the base storage of E5 is higher. But there is a 16 GB model of J5 available as well. If we compare the price, there is no meaning in purchasing the E5 when there is J5 in the market.

These are the bigger phones in the series. They come with bigger batteries and other benefits. These phones have different processors camera size and operating system. In terms of size, they are very near. Also in terms of design, they are similar. The best part of J7 is that it has removable back cover whereas E7 doesn’t.

Galaxy J7 is slightly cheaper and offer the double amount of core in the processor. There are two versions with two different SoC in the J7. Snapdragon 410 is just quad core but the Exynos 7580 or Snapdragon 615 are 8 core processors. This gives higher power to the new J series model. It has the same screen resolution, screen size and better camera with a bit wider aperture. The RAM is 512 MB less than E7 though.

Samsung has made its own smartphones not worth buying. Or let’s say that they have made a better and cheaper phone which are powerful or on the same level with expensive ones. This is fantastic for all users. People can get better specs at a lower price.
