In our first glance, we really kept admiring the display. It seemed like a real watch with real needles but when we rotated the bezel, it started showing its power. Gear S3 runs on Tizen OS for wearable platform instead of Android Wear. It runs fantastic and has lots of features to be admired.
User interaction is fun and seamless with rotating bezel and touch. It can last up to 3 days with single charge. It supports wireless charging, heartbeat sensor, gyrosensor and barometer. According to the company, this “Timeless Design” is possible due to collaboration with industry leading watchmakers.
Actually there are lots of applications if we intend to push it further. In Kathmandu, we travel in public vehicles so picking up calls is hard in crowd. Using the Gear S3, picking up calls and reviving SMS, notifications made everything simple. The health related apps made us more aware about our heart rate, calories and steps so our interest also increased in health.
