Samsung is getting very good feedback for its J series phones. They are selling impressively in the budget market. These phone have very good specs and and reasonable price. Understanding the customers demand and market, Samsung Nepal has launched Galaxy J2 Ace in Nepal. It’s price in Nepal is Rs 13,990.

Galaxy J2 was a very good phone which came two years back in 2015. It was revised again as J2 2016. It is a budget range phone so its specs are as expected to be in this range. This phone has a 5” TFT LCD screen with resolution of 540×960. Underneath we get a 1.4 GHz quad core processor with 1.5 GB RAM.

This phone comes with 8 GB internal storage and SD card support up to 256 GB. The camera department includes 8 MP sensor at back and 5 MP sensor at front. Both of these lens have f/2.2 aperture and we also have LED flash at both sides. This means the camera can take very good quality high-resolution photos and 720p HD videos.

Selfie lovers can enjoy decent selfies and good quality video conversations. Galaxy J2 Ace is powered by 2600 mAh battery which is sufficient for phone of this size. It also comes loaded with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. People can enjoy 4G, 3G and dual SIM feature with this handset.

Local and Special Features

We were briefed that Samsung develops features by studying the needs of local region. Thus, these phones come with features meant for people of Nepal. They aren’t found on smartphones of another region. These features include Ultra Data Saving and Power Saving Mode (UDS/ UPS), S Bike Mode, Turbo Speed Technology (TST), S Power Planning and S Secure.

Galaxy J2 Ace is a pure budget friendly phone which covers all aspects that it should. It packs a great battery, SD card support and new OS. The processor, RAM and internal storage are pretty good considering the price. Users can get very good battery life depending on usage level.

The camera is also powerful enough to serve and fulfill basic demands. We have always found Samsung’s camera quality very good in all of their devices. The company should however try to upgrade internal storage next time. In total, this a very good phone if it fall in your budget.
