Design, Camera, and Internals
The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is the top model as per the company which means it is the most premium in the entire range. The S22 Ultra actually has a whole different design and language. It is much rectangular, boxier and industrial just like the Note series phones. On top of that, it has an inbuilt SPen inside the Silo. That makes it completely a Galaxy S22 Note but the company is not using the name because they have now merged both series. Well, the name doesn’t matter to Note users and fans because they are getting a good upgrade after Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.
Among all three phones, only the S22 Ultra has a boxier design, curved front glass, and different camera layout. In the Ultra, all individual camera modules protrude out of the back glass while on the S22+ and S22 the cameras are on an island just like the S21 series. These design changes and main S Pen integration make the Ultra stand out from other models.
In the case of hardware, only the S22 Ultra features a 6.8″ LTPO screen which means the refresh rate goes from 120 Hz down to 1 Hz. It is the only phone with a massive 5000 mAh battery and 4 camera modules. The main camera is 108 MP and there is an additional 10 MP periscope telephoto camera capable of 10X optical zoom. Therefore only the Ultra has the most powerful camera, efficient screen, and top-notch hardware.
