UMIDIGI is a Chinese mobile brand and it is starting its smartphone journey in Nepal. They officially announced their entry at a media launch event in Hotel Annapurna, Kathmandu. On the auspicious day of Ghatasthapna (Nepali Hindu Festival), the company is setting its foundation. Ghatstahpna is a very special day for Hindus as it marks the start of the main festival of the country. UMIDIGI launched some selected phones in the market and sales are now running from this season.
Vividtec Impex Pvt. Ltd. is the official distributor of UMIDIGI smartphones in Nepal. Vividtec launched 5 smartphone models in Nepal. They have 5 official models but they also gave away some models that haven’t been launched to the media in a lucky draw. Two UMIDIGI C2 were awarded to lucky winners among attendees of the press meet. Popular Nepali actress Keki Adhikari unveiled the phones at the launch. The company demonstrated the specs of the phones with the actual models. The company told everyone how the phones use parts from industry leaders like Samsung, Sony, MediaTek, etc.
Umidigi is planning to launch more models in the future. Currently, Vividtec Impex is bringing UMIDIGI Crystal, UMIDIGI London, UMIDIGI C Note, UMIDIGI Z1 Pro, and UMIDIGI G. These are mid-range and budget-range smartphones. So, let us check the specifications of all the newly launched models by the company.

Umidigi Smartphones Impressions
We used all of these phones in the launch event in Hotel Annapurna, Kathmandu, and had a first-hand look. UMIDIGI smartphones feature good designs and good battery sizes in almost all phones. They all have a metal unibody design, Gorilla Glass protection, and a newer Android version. We also admire their design, and specs-to-price ratio. If we analyze the market these smartphones are some of the most affordable phones in the Nepali market. The company states that better phones are coming soon. We hope more smartphones from the company arrive to the market.
