Xiaomi Mi 6 price in Nepal

Mi Nepal launched the new Xiaomi Mi 6 in Nepal yesterday. We got to use the new phone today at Blogger’s Meet. Mi 6 is company’s flagship phone of 2017. It launched same day Samsung Nepal launched the Galaxy S8. Xiaomi is leading Chinese phone manufacturer who brings good devices in cheap. This time, current price of Xiaomi Mi 6 in Nepal is Rs 54,900.

As a flagship phone, it is very powerful. Mi 6 comes with great design, lots of power, features. At the top Xiaomi brings 5.15” Full HD IPS LCD panel on a shiny body made of glass and metal. Beneath it we get, Octa core processor on Snapdragon 835. There is 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB internal storage. Sadly, we don’t get external SD card support.

On the camera side, Mi offers dual 12 MP camera at back with f/1.8 and f/2.6 aperture size. At front there is 8 MP sensor which can take amazing selfies and videos. The back camera can record videos at 4K, 720p slow-mo at 120 fps. Under the shiny non-removable back, there is 3350 mAh battery.

Processor consists of two quad core sets. One is clocked at 2.45 GHz and another is at 1.9 GHz. Adreno 540 GPU is powering the 1080p screen for graphics goodness. Mi6 has all the sensors including barometer, gyrosensor, compass. The fingerprint scanner is embedded on the home button. Xiaomi is now using USB Type-C connector.

Xiaomi Mi 6 has fast charging, splash resistant design, dual SIM support and lot more. We can clearly see powerful hardware and attractive design. Xiaomi has carried its USP diligently. It is one of the best phone in the price range. There are none or only few companies which provide such features.

People love Xiaomi due to the pricing vs value. In our view, everything is great but being a flagship phone, screen resolution is actually low. We want to see AMOLED panels with QHD or 4K resolution in future for quality and VR applications. Many people complain about high pricing in Nepal. Company explains, it is due to import cost, excise duty, tax and market sales volume difference. Vatsal is trying to fight this by bringing price cuts and offers.
